I’ve been so behind on blogging – time to play catch up! Luke was the second in a string of 3 newborns that did NOT want to sleep for me.. but, what follows is what can happen during an almost 6 hour shoot when the baby wants nothing to do with sleeping or being posed and then all the sudden you get maybe 10 minutes of cooperation.. magic!

The upside of Luke being so reluctant to sleep was that I had LOTS of time to get to know his mommy and daddy who I enjoyed chatting with very much.. I hope I’m lucky enough to get to see this little guy and his wonderful parents again soon!

Oh, what a cutie! That smile is absolutely perfect!!
6 hours?! You are a trooper, but it paid off because these images are amazing. Beautiful work.

Oh my goodness…6 hrs. You seriously rock:) I bet it his parents were so relieved that he finally went to sleep and you guys got some sleeping shots of him. He’s such a pretty little boy and there is no signs that this was a rough session:) He hats are so adorable too.
Ariana, the pics are adorable! You were so patient with our lil guy….I couldn’y have asked for better pics to remember such a special moment.
Your work is just stunning! So inspiring. I have my first newborn opportunity next week. Just curious, do you use natural light or not?
Thanks everyone! Kathryn, for newborns yes always :)
