Jennifer and her husband Evan are dear dear friends of mine. Evan and I went to high school together more years ago than I care to count and seeing them is always a pleasure.   They have been through some very tough times the past two years so it means so much for me to be able to capture this incredibly joyful time in their lives!

Jennifer is one of those mutli-talented actress/model types who is completely effortless in front of the camera, photogenic doesn’t doesn’t even begin to describe it.  The marathon session FLEW by too fast, and I could hardly wait to start editing the images.  But as soon as I got them onto my computer I realized I had a monumental task in front of me to narrow them down to a few favorites – they were almost all perfect! I think you will agree, she is a stunning mamma to be:

Dear Evan and Jen, everyone who knows you knows how lucky your son will be to have you as parents!  I can’t WAIT to meet him and Jasper is excited too, he wants to meet the “baby in the belly.”   I see many playdates in our future..

When my dear friend Janaki told me that she was pregnant, I couldn’t have been happier for her. She was BORN to be a mother.  When you have kids, it’s often hard to keep up relationships with your childless friends because while they are out drinking and partying (or at least staying up past 11pm!) you are just trying to hold it together on 5 hours sleep.  Your new obsession with finding the perfect bottle or sippy cup isn’t really a conversation topic that most of your friends without children find interesting.  But Janaki is the exception to that rule. I could chat with her about ANYTHING baby related and not only did she seem interested, she actually had opinions and knowledge on the subject because she LOVES babies.   Again, she was born to be a mom.

And when you see just how perfectly pregnancy agrees with her, I think you will agree..

Ja & Kevin I couldn’t be more excited for you both as you embark on the wonderful journey of parenthood.. I can’t wait to photograph your baby “on the outside!”

I had so much fun with Kendra this afternoon – I had forgotten what a PLEASURE it is to photograph adults sometimes.. They smile, do what they are told.. and don’t run away from the camera (usually!)

And when they are 9 months pregnant they positively glow..

Kendra, I hope you enjoy your sneak peak as much as I enjoyed putting it together.. I can’t wait to meet your little one next month!
